Removable Dock Systems: Match the Dock to Your Shoreline
Every FLOE dock is removable, and every one starts with the same engineered aluminum frame. What differs is how each meets the water. Your lake bottom, shoreline slope, water fluctuation and storage space pick the system:
Roll-In Docks
Roll-in docks ride on high-density polymer wheels. One person can walk a typical system into place each spring and back out each fall, no wading. Best for firm-to-medium bottoms and gentle slopes, from a few inches of water out to about nine feet.
Sectional Docks
Sectional docks break down by hand: pull the spring pin, slide the leg out, stack the sections compactly on shore. They are the answer for steep banks, seawalls and tight storage, with leg kits that handle water and mud to 82 inches.
VHD Docks
VHD heavy-duty docks wear FLOE’s exclusive Floe-Master perforated decking: dent-proof under hail, cool underfoot, and open enough to let waves pass through in wind while passing 45% more light to the water below. Built for residential, resorts, parks, dock-and-dine waterfronts and exposed shorelines with larger waves.
Floating Docks
Floating docks ride on foam-filled molded floats and stay at boat height as the water fluctuates. When water will not sit still, or legs cannot reach bottom, floating is the only choice. Float capacity scales from 1,800 pounds on a 3×16 to over 11,000 on an 8×24.
